Scenery Box - Moonlight Fishing

This is a unique and one of a kind piece, featuring a fishermen in his little wooden boat, night  fishing on the lake. The lake is  surrounded by tall trees, mountains and under the light of the moon, he is still, waiting to land his fish. All of this is captured in a sweet arched scenery box, decorated with the moon, stars and topped with a little fishy and ready to hang on the wall.

Handmade using a stoneware clay, hand painted with underglazes and a clear glaze and fired twice in a kiln. Due to the nature of the clay and glazes in the firing process, each piece will always be unique. Our ceramics are rustic in nature, perfectly imperfect with uneven shapes, wobbly edges, surface cracks and other organic features Which occur in the kiln
